Do you have a pile of shopping bags and don’t know what to do with them? Well, you can remove the cotton cord handle and make a wrap bracelet/necklace combo:

The wrap bracelet/necklace is easy to make. Just remove the handle from the shopping bag, crimp each end of the handle, then attach the jump rings and clasp. Easy, yeah?!

Not only is the wrap bracelet/necklace combo easy, it’s also very inexpensive. The only materials that you need other than the shopping bag handle are crimp cord ends, jump rings and a lobster clasp.

If you are going to try this project, make certain that the handle from the shopping bag is thick and round. A soft cotton cord handle works best, but a nylon cord handle also works.

So, if you are looking for an easy jewelry project, then the cotton cord wrap bracelet/necklace is for you.

Are you ready? Let’s begin.
