I usually put off decorating my home for Christmas until a week before the holiday. However, I’m going to actually start a month early this Christmas season. In addition, I’m going to DIY some of the decorations and not buy them at the store.
First, I have to make a wreath or a garland. There are some really beautiful DIY wreaths and garlands on the internet. So, if you’re like me and need some inspiration, here are some of my favorite Christmas wreaths and garlands:
Triangle Christmas Wreath
Fall for DIY’s triangle Christmas wreath is a modern alternative to the traditional Christmas wreath:
Asymmetrical Holiday Wreaths
If you prefer making a few small wreaths, why not try making Paper & Stitch’s asymmetrical wreaths:
Winter Wonderland Christmas Wreath
Craft-O-Manic’s wreath really captures the spirit of Christmas:
Swedish Candle Wreath
If you want a more traditional Scandinavian wreath, then Francoise et Moi’s candle wreath will be perfect for you:
If you have any pinecones in your backyard, why not make a pinecone wreath:
If you prefer acorns, then you can make an acorn garland like DIY Dekoideen’s:
Recycled Christmas Cards Garland
Get rid of those leftover Christmas cards by making a colorful garland:
String some extra ornaments together to make a very sparkly garland:
Scrap Felt Garland
Gather your leftover felt scraps and make a felt garland:
Felt Ball Garland
If you have felt balls, then make a felt ball garland like the one on My Sparkle:
Pine Sprig Garland
Finally, you only need a little greenery to make The Merry Thought’s pine sprig garland:
